What is endometriosis?

Endometriosis is a medical condition where tissue similar to the lining of the womb grows elsewhere in the body.

It can cause symptoms including pelvic pain, painful periods, heavy periods, pain during or after sex, pain when going to the toilet and fatigue.

Symptoms can vary considerably from one woman to another.

If you're experiencing symptoms that concern you, it's important to speak with your GP or another appropriate healthcare professional.

What is adenomyosis?

Adenomyosis is different from endometriosis, although the two conditions can occur together.

It happens when tissue similar to the lining of the womb grows into the muscular wall of the womb.

It can cause painful or heavy periods, pelvic pain, bloating and discomfort, amongst other symptoms.

Again, symptoms vary from woman to woman, and medical advice is important if you're concerned about your symptoms.

A gentle reminder

Endometriosis and adenomyosis are medical conditions.

Health coaching does not diagnose, treat or cure either condition.

My role is to provide personalised nutrition, lifestyle and wellbeing support alongside your medical care.

Why this matters to me

My interest in supporting women with endometriosis and adenomyosis is personal.

After my own significant health journey, I was later diagnosed with both endometriosis and adenomyosis.

Receiving those diagnoses gave me an even deeper understanding of how complicated women's health can feel—and how difficult it can be to know what to do next.

I'd already experienced the frustration of trying to make sense of my own body and navigating conflicting information.

My diagnoses reinforced something I already believed:

Women don't need more pressure. They need support, understanding and space to work out what feels right for them.

That's a big part of why I created my coaching approach.

There isn't one perfect routine for living with a women's health condition.

And I'm not here to give you another long list of things you should be doing.

Instead, we'll take the time to understand you.

🌿 Understand your individual needs

We'll explore your current symptoms, lifestyle, routines, challenges and goals to build a clearer picture of where you are now.

🌿 Nutrition without overwhelm

We'll explore your current relationship with food and identify realistic ways to support your nutritional wellbeing without unnecessary restriction or perfection.

🌿 Lifestyle support

We can explore areas such as sleep, movement, stress, rest and everyday routines, always considering what is realistic for your life.

🌿 Understand your cycle

Where appropriate, cycle awareness can help you notice patterns and become more familiar with how your body changes throughout the month.

🌿 Sustainable habits

There won't be an expectation that you overhaul your life.

We'll focus on changes that feel manageable and meaningful for you.

🌿 A supportive space

Sometimes having someone listen, ask the right questions and help you make sense of everything can be incredibly valuable.
